I am a lay leader at church and everytime its my turn we begin worship with this song. For every Christian everywhere in my opinion there is no better song to begin worship with! Being a christian and knowing that God loves you unconditionaly is something we can do nothing other than Rejoice!

What is this song about, something bad happening to someone else? (Did you think to try and warn her?) About ten years ago, I dreamed about The Joshua Tree. And it had an additional song on it titled "Black And Blue Sky". (I'm pretty sure that came from my favorite song on the album, Bullet The Blue Sky.) It was about someone he loved leaving him, and he was asking the "black and blue sky" how to go on without her. (as if he was asking god how to go on without her) After I woke up, I immediately thought the song I dreamed about was like this one.

I used to listen to this song when I was 2 years old and I would walk around my house singing “Rejoice! Rejoice!” And I am almost 10 years old.

I am grateful that we Christians, a minority discriminated people, ae able to speak the truth. Incredulously, willjcuss, didn't listen to the lyrics and makes that obvious!
